China’s first chocolate-themed park World Chocolate Wonderland has been held from December 16, 2011 for a month in Shanghai. It provided visitors with visual shock and taste surprise, and also a feast of splendid craftsmanship and delicacies of chocolate.
The World Chocolate Wonderland is made up of four fantastic areas including Wonderland Theme Pavilion, World Chocolate Pavilion, Chocolate Living Museum and Chocolate Magic Institute. Wonderland Theme Pavilion set the “Fascinating China” as its creative theme, in which the concept of splendid Chinese culture are reflected on the vivid chocolate sculpture works displayed here. In World Chocolate Pavilion, you will find the truth of chocolate by getting knowledge of chocolate historical culture and observing its planting and producing processes and you can have a close look at the masters’ excellent skills. In order to fulfill visitors’ will to DIY chocolate, the Chocolate Magic Institute sets a chocolate DIY area, where visitors can participate in the DIY activity to make the exclusive memorial chocolate.
The World Chocolate Wonderland Event successfully covered Christmas and the New Year Festival and they also prepared special activities (From January 23rd to January 28th) for the Chinese Lunar New Year such as Lucky draw of New Year Fudai (a kind of small bag which could bring you luck), Lucky draw of “Dragon luck sign” and “Blessing tree” activity. It’s a good choice for you to have a detailed look at the great event during the Spring Festival.
