With the ever-accelerating pace of life, stress is regarded as a silent killer. Finding ways to stablize our moods and finding inner peace has become a common goal. Now, The Suited Monk might be just the right book for that.
The Suited Monkis Raf Adams’ first book, which was written in Asia and published in Britain. Itwill be available for sale on Amazon and at select bookstores in China (Feb. 16 in Shanghai), Hong Kong (March) and other countries in Asia (April in Singapore).“The Suited Monk” refers to the different roles we play in our life: We wear suits and ties, indulge in fame and materialism; while our heart’s true desire longs for happiness and truth.
In Adams’s book, there exists a model that balances the “suited person” and the “true self”, narrowing the gap between the two through by self-questioning and answering. This guides readers chapter by chapter how to deal with pressure and how to find their own happiness.
The author Raf Adams was born in Belgium and currently lives in Shanghai. He is a professional public speaker, and a member of the organization TEDX. At 24, Adams was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, caused by acute stress. The chapter of finding happiness in this book is an actual narrative account of Adams himself.
